Travel Grants

Important Dates (tentative):

Notification of award: 20th March 2026

Application deadline: 15th March 2026

Applications will be reviewed on a competitive basis. Applicants will apply via online form (to be created), where they will provide basic information about themselves and their accepted papers/abstracts/videos. To claim the travel grant recipients must provide proof of attendance (registration).

100+ travel grants will be awarded. The value of each grant will be determined by the committee. To be eligible, an applicant must fall into one of the following categories (in the order listed below):

  • Student members of IEEE Sensors Council’s Member Societies with accepted contributions for ‘Interactive Session’.
  • Volunteers of IEEE Sensors Council’s Collaboration and Engagement group from Africa and then from other places.
  • Members of IEEE Sensors Council’s Member Societies with accepted contributions for ‘Interactive Session’.
  • Accepted contributions for ‘Interactive Session’.

100+ travel grants will be awarded. The value of each grant will be determined by the committee based on geographic location of the participants and using the criteria given below:

  • Student members of IEEE Sensors Council’s Member Societies with accepted contributions for ‘Interactive Presentation Session’.
  • Volunteers of IEEE Sensors Council’s Collaboration and Engagement group from Africa and then from other places.
  • Members of IEEE Sensors Council’s Member Societies with accepted contributions for ‘Interactive Session’.
  • Accepted contributions for ‘Interactive Session’.
